Changing the world – one student at a time…

Stran CU is part of a worldwide body committed to reaching students for Jesus Christ. Each of the 150 member movements in countries around the globe believes that our student years are strategic both in our holding firmly to the gospel and as we seek to share this with our peers.

In Ireland more than 1500 students meet in local groups from Cork to Coleraine and Galway to Dublin. Alongside us, as students, in the IFES Ireland family there are volunteers who help, graduates who give, supporters who pray, and a team of staff workers that provides encouragement, advice, direction and support. Cath Butler (cath@ifesireland.org) is the staff person working most closely with us to help us make the most of our opportunities in Stran.

The vision? A changed world, as Christian students are prepared for lifelong service of Jesus Christ, wherever he would place them.

The aims? To see Christian students mobilised in mission, reaching out with the Good News of Jesus Christ to their fellow students in culturally relevant ways and involved in world mission whether locally or globally. And seeing them grow in maturity as they submit every aspect of their lives to God’s Word.
